Advanced PC users may be able to update Windows drivers manually by searching for the correct version at the ensuring that it matches the device type and exact model, downloading and installing it. However, this process takes time and carries the risk of getting an incorrect driver version or downloading an unofficial driver, which may be bundled with spyware or viruses. Because of these risks, novice users are recommended to use TweakBit Driver Updater, a special software that checks for outdated or missing drivers, downloads the latest official versions released by the device manufacturer and automatically updates the drivers without requiring the user to make any complicated decisions.

Hello - I downloaded the free version Malwarebytes to my computer because I kept getting a box popping up that said 'Interactive services dialog detection - a program can't display a message on your desktop.' It may be nothing bad, but a forum discussion suggested I do a check for malware. A quick malwarebytes scan shows no infected files. D drive full scan shows no infected files. But when I do a C drive full scan it stops after about 30-40 minutes and says the program stopped running.

One time, my computer shut itself off and restarted on its own during the scan. When I google this problem, it says I probably have something bad on my computer.

The interactive services dialog box is no longer appearing, but I still wasn't able to run a full scan on Malwarebytes on the C drive. I am not super computer savvy but I am able to follow directions pretty well. I got instructions in the general malwarebytes forum to do a quick scan, then perform full antivirus scan. I did both of those, then tried to run the full scan on malwarebytes and my computer shut down and restarted by itself in the middle of the scan at about the 30-40 min mark. I then downloaded DeFogger on my computer, and disabled the CDrom emulation software. Your instructions say that it will ask me to reboot the machine, but it did not. So I just restarted it on my own.

I did not know what 'download DDS meant and I didn't know where to find this so I skipped it. I then downloaded the rootkit scanner. After a few minutes of scanning, a window popped up saying 'download[1]exe has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.' Should I try the rootkit again? I'm not sure if I am looking for a problem that isn't there, but it does worry me that I can't perform the malwarebytes scan in the C drive without it stopping in the middle or shutting down my computer.
